Our ambassadors


We are fortunate to have some generous ambassadors who donate their time to support and raise awareness of our work. Our ambassadors are passionate about the care and protection of animals and we’re grateful for their commitment.

Peter Alexander 

Most Victorians will be familiar with the name Peter Alexander. As one of Australia’s most successful fashion designers, recognised for his entrepreneurial mind and business acumen, he is also known as ‘The Pyjama King’. 

Peter’s love of animals has been present since he was young, continuing to colour his thinking throughout life, as seen in the fabric prints featured in his pyjama collections over the years. During his time as an Ambassador, Peter has raised more than $1,000,000 for RSPCA Victoria and is also a generous personal donor. 

In 2009, Peter adopted Butch from RSPCA Burwood, who went on to become Peter’s beloved friend and ever valued part of his family. Peter is passionate about sharing his voice and platforming our vision to end cruelty to all animals.

Tim Campbell

Tim Campbell is a true triple threat in the entertainment scene, a talented singer, dancer, actor and Australia’s Golden Boy. Tim is a long-term dedicated RSPCA Victoria Ambassador, having committed his support in 2009.

Over the years, Tim has generously lent his support to various RSPCA events and campaigns, and for eleven years running he has hosted the Million Paws Walk event at Albert Park lake, using his voice to encourage others to walk, fundraise and donate to help RSPCA Victoria in its work to prevent cruelty to all animals.

Tim is a firm part of the RSPCA Victoria family who shares his love of animals with the charm and wit for which he’s so well known.

Jane Bunn

As one of Melbourne’s most recognisable faces, highly credentialed meteorologist Jane Bunn is best known for forecasting and presenting the nightly weather bulletin on Channel Seven News. Jane has also made her mark as a respected lifestyle show presenter, corporate speaker, radio broadcaster and her crowning glory, as Moomba Monarch in 2019.

Jane has been a huge advocate for animals, ever since adopting a dog who quickly became a much loved part of her family. She’s been a dedicated RSPCA Victoria supporter for many years, helping to promote our work by encouraging others to follow her lead and be involved in events such as Million Paws Walk and Cupcake Day.

As an Ambassador, Jane hopes to share the important work of RSPCA Victoria with the broader community and encourage more people to adopt animals and provide them with a second chance in a loving home.

Tom Mitchell

Tom Mitchell is a champion of the AFL. After a decade playing the in the league, Tom has cemented himself as one of the best in the game receiving a number of impressive accolades including football’s highest honour, a Brownlow Medal, as well as being an All-Australian Player and the Best and Fairest at the Hawthorn Football Club two years running.

When he’s not training, Tom loves spending time with his two golden retrievers Macy and Nala, whom he credits for helping him during one of his darkest moments; having broken his leg in 2019. They are his pride and joy, and the inspiration behind him joining the RSPCA Victoria family.

Tom believes in the power of pets to lift our spirits, bring us into the present moment, love us unconditionally and always bring a smile to our faces.

Gab Pound

Gab Pound is an AFLW player for Carlton Football Club and a self-proclaimed passionate dog lover. As a busy athlete, Gab understands the positive impact pets can have on our lives, both physically and mentally. AWFL All Australian in 2019, Gab has had her dog Jessie by her side every step of her career.

Gab adopted Jessie, a greyhound cross Labrador, from RSPCA Victoria in 2019 and they have been constant companions ever since. Jessie is her biggest supporter, cheering her on from the sidelines or waiting at home ready to provide comfort after a hard loss.

Currently studying Outdoor Education, Gab is particularly passionate about teaching young people. As a role model to many, Gab helps promote our education programs to develop empathy and animal welfare knowledge in future generations.

Sharni Layton

A powerful force in two elite, competitive sports, Sharni Layton is an exceptionally talented athlete using her voice for good. After dominating the Australian netball scene for 15 years, Sharni challenged herself by retraining in AFLW and now plays for Collingwood Football Club.

Sharni is an advocate for all creatures great and small, with a particular passion for cat and horse welfare as she owns three black cats, Chiggy, Peabo and Xena. She also has a rescue dog called Stickers.

In her role as Ambassador, Sharni focuses on how we can help prevent animal cruelty and neglect before it happens. With a keen interest in politics, Sharni is involved in our advocacy work and helping to create change at a policy and legislative level.

Dan Pasquali

Best known for his outrageously glittery cakes, Dan Pasquali is one of Victoria’s most creative bakers. He was the runner up in 2019’s Australia’s Great Bake Off but won the hearts of the nation with his kind heart and joyful TV persona.

Dan now shares his incredibly beautiful cakes on his much-loved Instagram, @dansbakelab, animals often being the inspiration behind his quirky designs. Originally an Ambassador for RSPCA Queensland, Dan joined the RSPCA Victoria family when he made the move to Melbourne in 2019.

He is an animal lover and supports us throughout the year, especially every October for Cupcake Day where his true talents shine!

Pierrick Boyer

Known for his culinary prowess and perfect patisserie skills, Pierrick Boyer is one of Melbourne’s most well-regarded pastry chefs with four cafes across Melbourne and his flagship store in Prahran, Reverie. Pierrick is the creative genius behind all the beautiful delights he serves, including croissants, cakes, all day breakfast & brunch and petit-fours.

Ever since he was a young boy in France, Pierrick’s love for animals has been a constant source of joy throughout his life. He is always looking for ways to help fight animal cruelty and has been a long-standing supporter of RSPCA Victoria since moving to Australia in 2004.

Pierrick has two Jack Russells, Lelemu and Kekoa, who often feature on his Instagram and help their friends at RSPCA Victori!

Mark and Mya

Mark has amassed a huge social media following after embarking on a huge trip across North America with his white German Shepard Mya. Together, Mark and Mya explored the country far and wide, from the most beautiful national parks to the busy city centre of New York, and even a day trip to Mexico. Since then, Mark and Mya have also ventured to Canada, New Zealand and their home country of Australia.

Mark believes pets are part of the family and uses his platform to encourage people to give their dogs enriching and fulfilling lives. Through picturesque images and videos, Mark communicates the importance of responsible pet ownership and the value of animals in our lives.

Mark and Mya are best friends and help spread the RSPCA Victoria message, including the importance of adoption, donating to an animal-based charity and how to do pet-friendly travel.
